How I make money on Pinterest!

{This post may contain affiliate links which means I make a small commission at no extra cost to you. See my disclosure for details.}

I love Pinterest for many reasons, but the main reason is it helps me make a full-time income from home. There are a few different ways you can generate income from Pinterest each month, and I am going to walk you through all of it now!

Affiliate Marketing.

This is the most common way to make money via Pinterest. You join an affiliate program, write a blog post about it, and link it to a pin. Seems easy right? Maybe not AS easy as it sounds, but it can be done!

First off, what is affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is when you promote a product or service via a personal affiliate link (that you get from joining an affiliate program) and when someone purchases via your link you make a percentage of the sale.

Pretty sweet right?

I have found those who are most successful with affiliate marketing on Pinterest are promoting affiliates via a blog post. This way, you can go more in-depth about the product or service you are promoting and explain to your reader how or why you like it and how it can help them.

Amazon is the most common affiliate program, and while there are unlimited products to promote, you have to convert a TON of sales to make even a little $$. The people who have the most success with this program have a decent amount of blog traffic already coming in.

Share-A-Sale is a program that I always recommend to my students. There are 1,000’s of programs to join, and you can search for them via category. They have programs for ALL niches! AND the average payout is over 4%. Some of the programs offer recurring monthly payments too! So you are making money each month!

eBooks or eCourses

No, you don’t have to sell a course or book on blogging to make money. Many of my eBook ninja students have books on parenting, babies, toddlers, recipes, fitness, travel, the sky is the limit!

If you are knowledgable in your blogging niche, you can easily write an eBook! Yes, there is tons of free info out there. But when it comes to convenience, people prefer to purchase a book or course from someone who knows what they are talking about!

I spend a little money on Facebook each month for marketing, but 90% of my FREE traffic to my courses comes directly from Pinterest!

You can spend money on promoted pins, but you 150% don’t have to. I have found just as much success (maybe even more) with unpaid, organic traffic on Pinterest. As long as you have the basics of how Pinterest works down, you are golden!

Become a Pinterest Virtual Assistant!

The need for specialized VA’s is becoming more and more popular. Businesses want to hire someone who is an expert on a specific platform rather than a jack of all trades.

And with Pinterest being such a huge FREE traffic driver, businesses and bloggers are utilizing it so much more!

However, 75% of them have ZERO clues about what they are doing, and most of them don’t have the time to dedicate to being successful on Pinterest.

And that is where you come in! If you know Pinterest, this is your sign telling you to start a VA side gig! If you don’t know Pinterest, this is me telling you to start a VA side gig!

You can learn more here.

Either way, If you are willing to put in the work, Pinterest can make you money!

Happy Pinning!
