How to become a Pinterest Virtual Assistant

If you landed on this post, you have probably already spent a decent amount of time online searching “work from home jobs” or “Pinterest Virtual Assistant Jobs.”

And I know firsthand how overwhelming it all can be. I average $5-7K a month with my Pinterest Virtual Assistant business. A job I can do from the comfort of my own home.

A job where I am the boss, and I make my own hours, working as little or as much as I want to. A job where I can pick and choose who I want to work with.

Now, I pride myself on being as transparent as possible when it comes to starting your own business. So in this post, I will break it all down for you

A quick rundown on why I started my own business!

I graduated from college back in 2008 and went right into the corporate world. A short three years later, I had my son Ethan in 2011. I worked right up until he came.

At this point, my husband and I both mutually decided I would take a year off to stay home with him. Once Ethan turned one, I started looking into going back to work. But the cost of childcare WAS NUTS. I was shocked and discouraged since I would be working to pay for someone else to watch him. And I wasn’t ok with that.

So I started doing some small contracting jobs on the side from home. Fast forward to 2015, and my daughter Kori was born!

I dabbled in the MLM world for a bit, but I wanted to find a way to make a STEADY and solid income. Plus, sales were not my thing.

It was about this time a client of mine wanted me to look into Pinterest as a way to reach their ideal target audience, homeschool Moms. So I dove right in.

After about three solid months of pinning their content on the Pinterest platform, we were able to increase their monthly sales from $3,000 to over $6,000, all with the help of Pinterest.

At this point, I knew I hit a marketing gold mine.

And I needed to figure out a way to harness it.

I started telling my other clients about Pinterest and started using it to drive traffic to their websites and online stores.

By late 2016 I had a full Pinterest Marketing client list. I was bringing in a steady 3K a month. Since I had two younger kids, I would wake up about 2 hours before them (yes, it was rough for a bit) and work. And I would also take advantage of nap times to work and sometimes would work for an hour or two after they went to bed.

But I was able to be a stay-at-home Mom while now being able to contribute to my family financially.

In early 2019 I launched my second course, Va Ninja. My first course Pinterest Ninja came out in 2018. I knew being a Pinterest virtual assistant was a job anyone could self-train themselves to do.

I knew there were Mothers out there like me who wanted the best of both worlds to be a working, stay-at-home Mom.

Here is the reality of it all.

Pinterest is growing at a substantial rate when it comes to bloggers and online business owners utilizing the platform to drive traffic, make more sales and increase brand awareness.

It also takes someone who knows how Pinterest works to help make that happen.

I have been helping clients with Pinterest marketing for nearly seven years now and have increased my income to well over $5K. Of course, I can work more now that both my kids are in school full-time. But I am still around to help with class parties, field trips, and homework. And my added income has changed our lives.

It’s not a get-rich overnight kind of gig. It takes a lot of time and effort to start your own business. And this job takes someone with a lot of work ethic and drive to succeed. However, it is a reliable way to make a consistent monthly income from home.

Luckily I have made a VERY step-by-step course that lays out the entire process of starting your own Pinterest VA business from start to finish.

I have sold over 5,000 courses on Pinterest Marketing and have helped over 1,000 women (and men) start their own Pinterest VA businesses. You can read interviews from a couple of my students HERE

As always,

Happy Pinning
