This post is going to be short and to the point!

Recently Pinterest has done a HUGE algorithm update. The main thing that has come out of it, is they want us as content creators to be creating at LEAST 4/5 new pin IMAGES a week. (If you need help when it comes to creating pins that convert to website traffic, click here)

With this update came a HUGE GLITCH! A lot of websites are being marked as “low quality” and because of this, the reach of your content has significantly dropped.

The kicker is no one is being notified of this glitch. So if it’s happening to you, there is really no way to know other than tanking analytics.

If your reach used to be much higher, as in you would pin a pin, and within a day or two have a reach of over 1K and now your new pins have a reach of 100, you are probably being flagged.

Here are the steps you need to take:

Go to “appeals”
Then click: “Pinterest blocked my site”
Then click: “Something else”
Then copy and paste the below statement:
“My analytics have tanked and keep going down no matter what I do. I feel as if my website is being marked as spam by Pinterest.”
Pinterest has been emailing most content creators back within 24 hours letting them know they have fixed the issue. You should see a good reach again within 48 hours.
